“Halo 5 Guardians: Ghost of Meridian” is the latest update coming this week to give an additional range of new game content. However, no specific date of release had been given yet. The “Halo 5 Guardians: Ghost of Meridian” will include new weapons, vehicles, new armors, REQs and new skins among others. But aside from these, the update will also bring two new maps, which are the Skirmish at Darkstar Warzone and the Tyrant Arena maps.
In “Halo 5 Guardians: Ghost of Meridian’s” Tyrant map, it provides a symmetrical map for Assault game and Capture the Flag types of the game, according to the 343 Industries’ post on the official blog of Halo Waypoint.
According to Quinn DelHoyo, multiplayer designer, to win on the Tyrant, the player should get and toss the opposing flag in the nearby man or gravlift cannon. Also, a teammate who waits on the other side can begin running this flag while the player hold offs the opponents in their base.
The Skirmish at Darkstar Warzone map, on the other hand, is regarded as the smallest map in “Halo 5” but has strong bosses that must be taken down. According to Josh Holmes, 343 Studio Head, a new experience is offered in the Skirmish at Darkstar map, where the players are placed in the midst of the action. The two teams have a definite goal that builds the confrontation from the start. Holmes also said that the Prometheans on this map are using the stolen UNSC vehicles against the players.
“Halo 5 Guardians: Ghost of Meridian” is scheduled to unveil through a preview and more updates of the forthcoming live stream event on Tuesday, April 5 at around 3 PM PDT on Halo or Twitch.tv and Halo Channel. The specific date of release is said to be announced during the live stream event, Game Spot reported.
